Founded in 1977

Founded in 1977, the Gulls are a vibrant organization within Clearwater Yacht Club created by lady members to foster friendship and support the Club.

Since their inception, the Gulls have played an active role in enhancing Clearwater Yacht Club contributing to fundraising efforts and donating items such as china, silverware, picnic tables, refurbished restrooms, and even two pianos.

Social & Community Activities

The Gulls host luncheons on the third Wednesday of each month from October through March, featuring fashion shows, guest speakers, musical entertainment, and occasional field trips. Beyond luncheons, members gather weekly on Wednesday mornings in the Boardroom to plan future events, enjoy games, crafts, or simply spend time together before heading upstairs for lunch. Club Support & Fundraising

In addition to their social calendar, the Gulls actively support Clearwater Yacht Club through fundraising events such as ARC Day, which raises money for adults with developmental disabilities. Their contributions over the years have helped strengthen both the Club’s facilities and its community spirit.
