Who We Are

The Gulls began in 1977 when several CYC lady members had an idea to form a group to promote friendship and to support the Club as needed.   The By-Laws were accepted in February of that same year.  Originally the Bowchasers were Gulls who wanted to sail and the Gulls supported their sailing activities including babysitting their children.

The Gulls have held fundraising projects over the years for over $100,000, and have contributed many items to the Club such as new china, silverware, chafing dishes, picnic tables, a copier, refurbished restrooms, and even donated two pianos.

Social Events

The Gulls schedule luncheons that are usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from October through May.  The luncheons have consisted of fashion shows, interesting speakers, musical entertainment, etc.  Field trips to other venues are also planned.

The Gulls meet every Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. in the Gulls Nest located downstairs in the Drydock.  We meet on the first Wednesday of each month to plan future events.
