Each membership provides unique privileges—from reciprocity with other yacht clubs to participation in our auxiliary groups and signature traditions—ensuring that every member can enjoy the camaraderie, activities, and community that make Clearwater Yacht Club one of the most welcoming and vibrant yacht clubs in Florida.

Full

Full Members enjoy weekly dining & bar specials, happy hour at all three of our bars, club pool, participate in all club events and parties, can join all Clearwater Yacht Club auxiliary groups, ability to throw private parties with no room rental fees, bring guests to the club, daily docking privileges, & an Executive Membership at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center!

Full Members also receive additional benefits such as voting rights, ability to apply for a slip at the Clearwater Yacht Club Marina, six nights of overnight dockage, reciprocity to all clubs within the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, and over 960 yacht clubs within Yacht Clubs of America when traveling around the nation.

Social
Social Members have exclusive use of Clearwater Yacht Club and enjoy weekly dining & bar specials, happy hour at all three of our bars including the Tiki Bar next to club the heated and chilled pool, participate in club events and parties, ability to join most auxiliary groups, ability to throw private parties with no room rental fees, bring guests to the club, daily docking privileges, & an Executive Membership at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center!
 
Summer or Winter Trial
Trial Memberships are the perfect way for first-time members to experience all that Clearwater Yacht Club has to offer. Trial participants enjoy full access to club events, parties, and the opportunity to take part in our many organizations and activities. This exclusive membership requires no initiation fee—simply cover monthly dues during the trial period along with any food, beverage, or ship store charges.
 
You may select either the Summer Trial (May 1 – September 30) or the Winter Trial (November 1 – March 31). Participation is limited to one trial season. At the conclusion of the trial, members in good standing are invited to continue their journey with us as Full or Social Members.
 
Junior
Open to applicants up to age 40. Junior Members receive all the perks of a Full Membership! Junior Members pay a nominal initiation fee with the remainder of initiation fee due at age 40.
 
Active Military & 1st Responder
A membership for Active Military, EMT’s, Police, and Firefighters. This membership receives all the perks of a Full Membership!
